Spartan Training

Spartan Race is a leader in the sport of obstacle racing, offering open heats for all fitness levels, as well as competitive and elite heats for those with something more to prove. The first of its kind to feature timing and global rankings, Spartan Race provides a proving ground for beginner and professional obstacle racers looking to test themselves in new ways across the world.

Three Main Race Types

Sprint

The Reebok Spartan Sprint puts endurance aside and tests your quickness through 3+ miles loaded with 20+ obstacles. A great starter distance for beginners, or a perfect test against time for the more advanced racer.

Super

The Reebok Spartan Super is as much mental as it is physical, spanning over 8+ miles that are just as unforgiving as the 25+ obstacles that litter the distance.

Beast

The Reebok Spartan Beast is just plain hard. This is our longest and most difficult race out of our three main race types and is aptly named for its brutal 12+ mile circuit with more than 30 obstacles that try to keep you from your finish line.

Join my Team

I can train you to be ready to race in 12 weeks.  I have been racing in the elites now going on my 2nd year and placing on the podium several times. My teams have finished in the top 10 out of hundreds of teams. I have 80% of all the obstacles to get you ready to race. I was a past obstacle course champion in the World’s Tri Fitness competition.  I have built an obstacle course in my backyard called “The Warrior Zone”.

We do races for Spartan, Tough Mudder, Battle Frog and other obstacle courses. I have had so many join my team just to get in shape and when they start they have told me they don’t want to race.  I believe it’s because when they start they don’t believe they can. After weeks and months on training 99% that have joined my team decided to race because they believed they could after completing the training program. I have perfect example Kathy is 66 years young she started on my team just to get in shape.  I remember when she started she could not even run a lap on the track 90% of it was walking. After weeks of training she was running several laps on the track.  She finished your first Spartan sprint and now is training for her next one. So many have lost so much weight on my team Brent is down 30 pounds in his first 12 weeks training on the team. A ton of inches and body-fat off just about everybody. I love seeing them get over the walls and climb the ropes especially when the first day they never thought possible. Our team is Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

My team is ongoing you can join anytime. We will just prorate the program depending on when you start.  We train Wednesday nights 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings 6:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. as a team.  I email out the training program every Sunday for the following weeks that provides all your workouts to do on your own on the off days. This also includes your measurements and body fat every 4 weeks. I provide nutrition advice and we have a private Facebook group where we do all of our communicating.  Once you complete a 12 week training program you become an Alumni and your rate for your next 12 weeks drops.
